Notes
From the earliest times when man was inclined to acquire property, he began to dominate things. Over time, the need to impose limits on these powers granted over goods arose, this need turned into actual practice and some restrictions were imposed on ownership. One of these property restrictions is the right to shuf'a. The right to shuf'a or similar practices have been seen in various forms in different societies throughout history. As a matter of fact, the work we are examining deals with the issue of healing in Islamic law in outline by touching on the historical process. The work can be considered as the first independent and comprehensive Turkish book written on this subject, apart from a few master's degree thesis studies and a comprehensive book written by Ali Şafak. In the book, issues related to the subject are generally discussed by including the views of the Hanafi, Shafii, Maliki and Hanbali sects.
