Basra, Hz. By the order of Omar, Utbe b. It was founded by Gazvan (d.17/638) between 14-16/635-637. Subsequently, Abu Musa al-Ash'ari (d.44/665), Enes b. Malik (d.931712) and Muğlre b. Many companions such as Shu'be (d.S0/670) settled here and founded the "Bas,pi School". During the first three centuries, important studies were carried out in the fields of language, recitation, fiqh, tafsir and hadith. In the third Hijri century, many scholars who were authorities on hadith wrote very valuable works. Abu Davud et-Tayiiiisi (d.I33- 2Q4/750-819), Ali b. el-Medini (d.161-234/777-849) and Abu Diivud es-Sicistani (d.202-275/81 7-889) are just a few of these scholars. In this study, we have revealed the biographies of some important hadith writers who grew up in Basra and pointed out their works.
