The features of the Quran are sometimes explained in a few words, sometimes in detail. In various verses, the words "ʿaceb", "ʿarabî", "ʿazîm", "hakîm", "kerîm", "mecîd", "mübîn" and "zi'z-zikr" appear as adjectives of the word Quran. 75-77 of Surah Al-Vakia. It was said that the Quran was generosity by swearing by the positions of the stars in its verses, so the characterization of a book as "generous" started with the Quran for the first time. "Karim" has become the most used adjective of the Quran over time. Because when Muslims talk about the Quran, they often call it "the Holy Quran", showing respect and respect for it. Many comments have been made about the meaning of the Qur'an's adjective "kerim". Because the word "kerîm" has many meanings in the Arabic language, commentators could not agree on its meaning. In this article, it has been tried to determine which feature of the Qur'an is expressed by the adjective "kerim". For this purpose, first the meanings of the word "kerîm" in the Arabic language were shown, then the meanings in which the adjective "kerîm" was used in the Quran were examined, and finally, an attempt was made to reach a conclusion by considering and evaluating the comments made by commentators about the meaning of the adjective "kerîm" in the Quran.
