Notes	This article aimed to evaluate the ethnic structures of the Mahallemi in terms of the basic characteristics of ethnicity and their organization/solidarity qualities. For this purpose, some prominent elements in the ethno-religious identities of the Mahallemis, depending on their socio-cultural structures, have been tried to be explained. Qualitative methods were used in the study. Söğütlü Village/Neighborhood in Midyat was taken as the center of the intensive observations and in-depth interviews. As an ethnicity, Mahallemis display a position based on sustainable interactions rather than marginalizing them in terms of ethno-religious identity; They are also at the ethnic category level in terms of organization/solidarity.
