It is accepted that historical times began with the invention of writing by the Sumerians in 3500 BC. The first examples of "writing", one of the most important inventions in human history, in China are documents called Jia Gu Wen. The Jia Gu Wen script, which was used in China 3500 years ago, clearly forms the basis of today's Chinese signs. Chinese script took its current form by passing through stages such as Jia Gu Wen, Jin Wen, Zhuan Shu, Li Shu, Kai Shu, Cao Shu. Jia Gu Wen caption is a caption. Among the ancient writing systems, there is no other writing system other than the Jia Gu Wen script that continues to be used by changing and developing without being replaced by another writing system. Additionally, Chinese script is the only pictogram that continues to be used today. With its feature of being a caption, it reveals the mentality of the Chinese society. All these features make Chinese writing different. This study reflects the change that Chinese script has undergone, starting from the Jia Gu Wen script to the Standard Chinese Signs used today.
