Before introducing the book, some basic information about Ayusism needs to be given. In summary, the fourth century Hz. It is a period when various views regarding the divine and human nature of Jesus became evident. Since the beginning of the second century, Jesus Christ has been in the community. Different views regarding the divine and human nature of Jesus began to be discussed. These issues were discussed by leading bishops in various local and small synods or councils, but although a short-term calm was achieved, no final agreement was reached. This issue also had its share in Christian theology, which was influenced by Greek philosophy, especially until the third century. Particularly in the third century, heated debates began to emerge. However, the most important event on this issue was Aryanism, which was hotly discussed at the Council of Nicaea in the fourth century - considered the first ecumenical council - and at the end of the council, Aryus's views were rejected. Because Aryus, Hz. While presenting teachings that emphasized the human aspect of Jesus, they cast a shadow over his divine nature. For example, if we claimed that Aryus' thoughts formed the core of Orthodox Christianity in today's sense, we would be making a partially correct determination. If we exclude some studies carried out in our country's academy in the last quarter of a century on such a serious subject, we can see that the literature on this subject remains extremely barren. However, Aryus and his views have been given great importance in western literature and many studies have been produced on him. Therefore, the book titled Robert C. Gregg and Dennis E. Groh, Early Arianism – A View of Salvation, has attracted great attention, so to speak, to be used as a handbook among the studies produced in western literature on this subject.
