Biographical information about the companions in historical sources is important in terms of Islamic history, fiqh, tafsir and hadith sciences. The fact that the relevant information is handled in a scattered and confused manner in the sources requires examination and evaluation within the scope of classifications such as personality, subject and period. In this context, one of the companions, Abbad b. Bishr's biography was discussed. In the study, first of all -Abbâd b. Since it was noticed that there were two different companions named Bishr, the companion to be discussed is Abbâd b. based on his lineage and identity information. Bishr b. It has been clarified that he is Abdi'l-Eşhel. In this context, differing narrations have been conveyed and evaluated. In the study, Abbad b. After mentioning Bishr's ancestry, identity, family and being a Muslim, information about the wars he participated in was given. In addition, since he worked as a zakat officer, this issue was discussed under a final heading. Abbad b., one of the pioneers of Ansar. Bishr became a Muslim shortly before the beginning of the Medina period of Islam. During the thirteen years from the time he became a Muslim until the day he died, he both participated in the wars and took on missions. He sided with the Prophet.
