Notes
Television and social media have now become an integral part of our lives. These media organs have many benefits but also disadvantages. These affect children the most and have harmful consequences for them. It is not possible for families to prevent this alone. Therefore, it is important for schools and health institutions to attach importance to media education and develop sensitivity on this issue. The harmful effects of the media will only be effective if there is a protection and prevention program and policy at the national level. Based on this, citizens and non-governmental organizations should be encouraged to change policies by creating awareness at the national level and putting pressure on governments. On the other hand, television channels, social media platforms and the entertainment industry should all be encouraged and pressured to act responsibly. This is a public health problem at the social level, so it should be addressed as a problem that concerns everyone and every layer of society.
