Notes
The 8-century domination of Granada's Muslims over Spain ended. The military and political phase of the "Reconquista" movement, which was to recapture Andalusia, which was seen as the "megali idea" of the Spanish, was completed. Granada was handed over to Christians with an agreement that guaranteed the safety of Muslims' property, life and generation. But after a while (1499), the Spanish administration took action in line with the "one religion" and "one nation" policies in Spain.
