Notes The positive interest in spiritual consultancy and guidance services in Turkey is increasing day by day, both in the context of institutional practices and academic research. The public institution that stands out in institutional services in the mentioned field is the Presidency of Religious Affairs, which is a public authority in the field of religion. With the start of providing spiritual consultancy and guidance services in hospitals by the Presidency within the scope of the service cooperation protocol with the Ministry of Health, the issue of training spiritual advisors has also come to the fore. In the article, first of all, the limitations of the Presidency in spiritual consultancy and guidance services in hospitals are stated. Later, a certified training program, comprehensively developed based on a modular system from the perspective of psychology of religion and clinical psychology, was presented to increase the basic and special field competencies of spiritual counselors who will work in spiritual counseling and guidance services that have just started to be implemented in hospitals in Turkey.
