The last example of the cultural innovations attempted to be carried out in Anatolian society during the Ottoman period was II. It came into practice after the declaration of the Constitutional Monarchy (1908). One of the areas most negatively affected by this change was the Mütehassisîn/Suleymaniye section, which was one of the madrasahs that were not modernized even though they were made more systematic compared to their past. Although this is the case, these institutions continued their educational activities until their abolition and many students graduated from them. It is important to thoroughly investigate the graduates in question in order to analyze the first years of the Republic in a healthy way and to determine the efforts and motivations to transform society during this period. Based on this idea, the life of Karacabeyli Mehmet Lütfullah, one of the last graduates of Mütehassisîn Madrasa, his published works and his unknown manuscript called Nûru'l-intibâh are discussed in this article. For this purpose, in the article, firstly, brief introductions of different aspects of the author's life and the works he wrote and published were made. Subsequently, the author's first identifiable work and his graduation thesis were examined in detail in terms of content. In addition, evaluations were made about the mentioned work in order to shed light on the academic understanding of the time.
