Midyat Aktaş Mevkii skeletons were recovered in 2013 from four chamber tombs dating back to the Roman Period, located north of the Mor Hobil-Mor Abrohom monastery in Aktaş Mevkii, Midyat district of Mardin province. The aim of the study is to estimate the lifestyle, oral health, nutritional habits and demographic structure of individuals by examining the pathologies of the teeth, upper and lower jaws of Byzantine Period individuals in Midyat, Aktaş Locality. In the study, data obtained from 319 upper and lower jaws in the chamber tombs of Midyat, Aktaş Mevkii were used. As a result, it was determined that there were 319 individuals in the society (9.09% were babies, 20.06% were children, 5.64% were women, 14.42% were men, 50.78% were of unknown gender). Dental and jaw pathologies of Aktaş Local individuals consist of 6.19% caries, 9.29% abscess, and 42.95% pre-mortem tooth loss. It can be said that the nutritional diet of the society is oriented towards animal protein.
