Notes
This article is about the role of human power in the emergence of actions by Ebû Mansur Mâtürîdî. Our study deals with Maturidi's original approach to the subject and his different interpretation style. With his original perspective on the subject of power, Māturīdī revealed the logical aspect in terms of both God and man. Māturīdī attributed the occurrence of actions to God on the one hand, and to man on the other. The reason why people are obliged to be subject to certain divine commands and prohibitions is because God creates power in their actions. The understanding that God is the real creator of man's actions also reveals the extent to which he has a share in power. Man's action belongs to God in terms of creating it, and belongs to him in terms of deciding to do it and causing it to emerge. God created humans with the power to distinguish good from bad and to recognize ugly and beautiful behavior. The issue of power, which is discussed in the context of human responsibility, has an important place among the schools of faith. The schools of faith generally accept the existence of power, but disagree on its evaluation.
