Notes It should be understood that people think differently because it is their nature. One of those who showed the best example of being tolerant in the face of different ideas is the Messenger of Allah. His reaction to different ideas set an example both in his own century and in the following centuries. Hz. of the Companions. The style they used towards the Prophet was not always the same. Sometimes they forgot that the other person was a prophet and used rude and hurtful language, as well as making statements among themselves that pushed the limits of politeness. Hz. The Prophet advised his interlocutors to use appropriate language. Likewise, he respected the thoughts of those who belonged to different religions and sought the basis of living together with them on a humane level. On the other hand, it did not allow tolerance in cases where people's rights and laws were violated. In this study, we will try to give information about the ideas of the Prophet's closest family and companions, their rude expressions when he preached Islam to the polytheists, his life in Medina, how he reacted to the objections and opinions of members of different religions, and how people reacted when their laws were violated.
