Translation has priority regarding the afterlife states related to the field of 'sem'iyyat', which is one of the main subjects of the science of Kalam. Imam Mâtürîdî also conveyed the afterlife as it is mentioned in the texts, but also made mental evaluations about the afterlife. He examined the principles of faith on the subject mostly in line with the data of the Quran. While doing this, he responded to the philosophers who did not accept the afterlife, and also made the determination and explanation of the true belief against the religious schools, especially the Mutazila, which he described as heresy. The account, which is considered as a stage of the afterlife, reveals original, mind-supported views about the people of Sirat and Purgatory and the next stages. Māturīdī's views on some stages of the afterlife gain special importance in terms of his evaluations of mental data in connection with the afterlife dimension. Because the topics of sem'iyyat are not at a size that can appeal to the five senses and the mind. However, directly evaluating these stages also poses some problems. In this direction, Māturīdī interpreted the texts regarding the afterlife.
