Notes
One of the most important of the Ulûmü'l-Kur'an, which was created for the preservation, interpretation and interpretation of the Holy Quran, is naskh. Abrogation, which has been the subject of many academic studies and taken into consideration by almost every commentator, is also one of the common ancient issues of Islamic sciences. In this article, an attempt has been made to compare the ways in which Mâtürîdî (d. 333/944)'s Te'vîlâtü'l-Kur'ân and Zamahşerî's (d. 538/1144) Keşşâf deal with the issue of abrogation. As a result of the study, it was seen that the subject of abrogation was given sufficient space in both works and that the issue was discussed and examined in general aspects. Both commentators, on the one hand, took into account the traditional scientific heritage on the subject, and on the other hand, revealed their acumen on the subject. Although they have a generally close stance on abrogation, it has been observed that the two commentators have a different and internally integrated perspective on evaluating the narrations and especially on the sources that form the basis for abrogation.
