Khalidism, a 19th century. As a 19th century movement, it is a Naqshbandi branch that has spread to many parts of the Islamic world, especially the Kurdish geography where it was born and developed. The sect, which takes its name from its founder Mevlana Halid Shahrizori, has been one of the strongest branches in the Nakshi tradition of the Islamic world since its foundation. In other words, Khalidism is one of the rare formations in the Islamic world that has managed to move beyond being a purely religious environment with the social, political and religious differences it brings. In addition to being a sect that reflects the personal character of its founder, Mevlana Halid Şehrezorî, Khalidism is also a formation that transcends him and is shaped according to the conditions of the regions where it spreads. For this reason, since it would be incomplete to evaluate this movement only in terms of the character of its founder, it is necessary to also consider the movement in terms of theoretical doctrine. Khalidism, as a religious view and understanding, was influenced by Indian Sufism and within this framework, it led to many changes and transformations in the regions where it was influential. Its most important effect is that it has retrograded the understandings that were dominant in the regions it influenced and were mostly influenced by Central Asian Sufism. Thus, with this new understanding, Khalidism, which is based on adherence to the Book and the Sunnah, which are the core sources of Islam, instead of the Ibn al-Arabī and unity-of-existence mystical understanding, has pushed heterodoxy understandings out of Islamic thought. The geography where this effect was most visible was the regions where Kurds lived. In this study, the codes of this change and transformation that took place in the Kurdish geography through Khalidism will be analyzed.
