Notes
Knowing God is possible by examining his attributes and actions. Knowing God also means knowing man himself. Because man's self-knowledge stems from God's knowledge. When we look at human history, we see that many thinkers have tried to recognize God's attributes and develop evidence for His existence. They have always associated the order, harmony, beauty and magnificence in the universe with absolute power. One of these thinkers is Şakarim. In this article, the understanding of divinity of Şakarim, one of the most comprehensive names of Kazakh philosophy, and his views on the existence and proof of God are revealed with metaphors, fables, stories and other artistic examples. In the study, the symbolic values of the subjects that the thinker deals with in his work are also stated. The basis of the philosopher's thoughts consists of the basic sources of Islam. Şakarim is a poet and also a great philosopher who understands the spirit of the Quran very well and can explain it to people in simple language. His "mysterious words" appear as a means in the process of bringing people to God. Therefore, there are important lessons that can be learned from the spiritual world of Shakarim for today. The ideas and thoughts he put forward are capable of shedding light on the crises that today's people are experiencing.
