One of the basic expressions of the Holy Quran about human happiness, which deals with humans from various aspects, is the phrase "kurratu ʻayn". This composition, which can be expressed as “eye brightness”, points to human feelings of joy, happiness and peace of mind. In this article, which analyzes the expression "kurratu ʻayn", which is sometimes used as a phrase and sometimes as a verb sentence in the verses, the meanings of the phrase in Arabic are emphasized; Then, the messages intended to be conveyed by this expression are examined within the framework of the verses in which it is used. Accordingly, some of the issues that are a source of joy and happiness for humans are; To have a child, to take care of a baby, not to be separated from your child, to receive support in difficult situations such as birth, to receive attention and understanding from your spouse, to have a happy home and to attain the unique beauties of heaven.
