Notes
Ibn Khaldun, who makes politics, morality and economy the subject of his philosophy, is not a philosopher in the classical sense. Ibn Khaldun's ideas have been influential in the Turkish and Islamic philosophical tradition. In this study, the socioeconomic transformation process in the Turkish world was examined with its social and cultural dimensions. The basic problems of this process arising from internal and external social dynamics are discussed in line with Ibn Khaldun's views.
