Notes	It is clear from the article that Turkism, Islamism, modernization, national language and other issues occupy an important place in the worldview of Azerbaijani Turkish thinker Alabbas Muznib. In A. Muznib's meetings, criticism of conservatism and keeping up with the conditions of the modern era are of great importance. A. Muznib took enlightenment as an important way for the national awakening of the Azerbaijani people and acted as a supporter of reforms in society. The thinker did not reach radicalism when criticizing the declining Muslim world in recent centuries, but tried to be careful in these matters. Muznib's main target of criticism was not Islam, but the hypocritical clerics speaking on behalf of that religion. He focused on reforming Muslims to adapt to the requirements of the modern age. Muznib's thoughts on the Islamic religion show that he was confident and hopeful about the awakening of the Islamic world and its liberation from darkness. From this point of view, Islamism, the ideas he put forward about Islam are extremely relevant for us today. At the same time, in the article, Turkism was interpreted within the framework of A. Muznib's socio-political meetings, and his thoughts on the future of the Turkic world, including the Azerbaijani people, were analyzed. Thus, Muznib tried to convey to his compatriots that the understanding of Turkishness is very important, and he believed that the Azerbaijani people would regain independence on the basis of Turkishness. We highly appreciate the thinker's conclusions regarding Turkism, Turkish unity, Turanian ideology. In our opinion, his conclusions about these issues, the considerations he put forward are as important today as they were 100 years ago. In particular, what he wrote about the place and role of Azerbaijan, Azerbaijani Turks on the way to the realization of Turkish unity maintains its relevance.
