Notes	The concept of intellectual constitutes Shariati's world of thought and is also at the basis of his philosophy. Ali Shariati handles the concept of intellectual by blending it with his own style. For this reason, the conceptualization of 'intellectual' is different from other thinkers. The relationship between Aydın and society can be seen as the most important factor in this definition. Although it is interpreted that Shariati evaluates the need for definition by looking at the position of the intellectual in society, it can be said that he especially draws attention to the position of the intellectual in the changes and transformations in social relations. In the book review, Ali Shariati's concept of intellectual and social elements are examined and evaluated from his perspective.
