The purpose of this article is Yahyâ b. It is to present Şeref en-Nevevi's view of Sahih al-Bukhari as a whole. In the study, the view of Al-Nawawi, one of the leading scholars of the 7th (13th) century and accepted as an authority in the sciences of fiqh and hadith, on Imam Bukhari's work called al-Câmiu'ssahîh, which is considered the most reliable hadith book by Muslims, was examined based on his works. First, Nawawi's views on Sahih al-Bukhari were examined under the headings of its full name, copyright, method, repetition of hadiths, number, judgment, ijma about it, informational value, place in hadith sources, comparison with Sahih al-Muslim and narration as a book, then his defense of Bukhari was mentioned, and finally, objections and criticisms were discussed. has been evaluated. As a result of the research, it was concluded that Sahih-i Bukhari had a special place in Nevevi's eyes, and that he tried to create a coherent view of his own by filtering the previous knowledge about Sahih-i Bukhari and making some contributions.
