Notes When the History of Islamic Sects is evaluated in general, it is seen that the events in which the Kharijites were involved had effects opposite to what was expected. However, the ideas they put forward and the activities they carried out in a short period of time led to the development of radical ideas in the history of Islamic thought. Kharijites carried out various activities during the transition to the Khorasan-Transoxiana region. These activities enabled the Kharijite movement, which was likely to end earlier, to continue for a while longer. After the Kharijites were first defeated in the Battle of Nahravan in 38/658, they fled to the east and expanded their area of ​​activity by first advancing to some parts of Iran and then to Khorasan. The presence of Kharijites in the region Nafi b. It started with al-Ezrak leaving Basra and retreating to Ehvaz with a large group of people. Qatari b. The Kharijites, who captured al-Fücae and Tabaristan, later dominated certain regions of Kirman. One of the most important Kharijite activities in the region was Atiyye b. Al-Aswad captured Kirman after 72/791 and minted coins in his own name there. Hijri III. There has been no significant Kharijite presence in the region since the middle of the century.
