The understanding of divinity has the feature of being an umbrella concept that determines all areas of imagination related to faith. The prominent ones among these areas are the prophetic doctrine, which is the form of communication of the divine authority with humans, and the human being himself, as the addressee of this authority. Understandings that ignore the correct interpretation of God's relationship with nature and His servants have paved the way for the emergence of erroneous beliefs. Among these, it is possible to count deist thought that rejects God's intervention in the universe, those who see the existence of the creator and the coexistence of evil as contradictory, and naturalist thinkers who explain the formation and development of nature within themselves. Again, discourses that postpone reason on the grounds that they are against religion, ideas that exclude the role of humans in their actions and highlight the imitative understanding of religion attract attention. These and similar approaches have been the source of the emergence of various ideas that are incompatible with the Islamic understanding of nature and human beings. Since the analyzes that Māturīdī made regarding these issues during his time are deep enough to shed light on various problems related to nature and humanity today, his ideas will be evaluated in our article with current connections.
