Those born after 2000 are described as Generation Z. Social media is very important for Generation Z, also called digital native. Internet and social media addiction is one of the most important psychological problems of today. There is a relationship between social media addiction and experiences of cyberbullying and victimization. In this study, social media addiction levels and cyber bullying and victimization experiences of Generation Z high school students are examined. In this context, a survey was applied to the students in the sample studying in 7 high schools in Malatya center. The research was conducted in the 2017-2018 academic year. The sample consists of 336 high school students. Class distribution is 9th, 10th, 11th and 12th grades. Age distribution is between 15 and 18 years old. 34% of the sample is male and 66% is female. Demographic questions, social media addiction scale, cyber bullying and victimization scale were used in the survey form. Social media addiction scale Cronbach's Alpha value is 0.813. To measure the level of cyberbullying and victimization, the Revised Cyberbullying Inventory-II (RCBI-II) was used. Cyberbullying Cronbach's Alpha value is 0.82; Cronbach's Alpha value of cyber victimization is 0.799. In the research, T Test and chi-square statistical techniques were used. A significant relationship emerged between social media addiction and cyberbullying and victimization experiences.
