Notes Most of the biographers have made plans on the early periods of Islam, stating that Jafares-Sadiq lived in a period between the Sunni-Shiite supporters and the truth parties that later grew stronger. Most orientalists have made similar evaluations. This article has been discussed in order to save the personality of Caferes-Sadik from those who oppose the sect. Our aim is not to prove that Cafer es-Sadık is Shiite, Sufi and Sunni. However, the aim was to reveal the personality of Cafer es-Sadık. Cafer es-Sadık's thoughts and life should be studied within the literature of his period. A scholar might then attempt to determine the social significance of Abbasid culture and the Sunni-Shiite path. One can likewise point to his ideas as opposing much of the Sufi developments of the centuries to come. The main purpose of this is to guarantee this period. By sketching the events in Jafar al-Sadiq's life and touching some of his social aspects, material and spiritual successes can be achieved. This success could make Jafar al-Sadiq the spiritual leader of the Sufis.
