Notes	Hz. One of the works that brings together the narrations that have come down to us from the Prophet and whose authenticity the ummah agrees on is the Sahih of Imam Muslim (d.261/875). Many commentaries have been written on Muslim's Sahih, as well as on other hadith collections. Among these, the work titled Fethü'l-Mülhim by Pakistani scholar Şebbir Ahmet Osmânî (d.1949) is an important work as a contemporary commentary. Şebbir Ahmet, who used the commentaries on the Sahih as a source until the century he lived in, took into account the problems and needs of his age; He has produced an original work with his jurisprudential considerations and topics covered under special headings, in addition to his deed and text analyses. Our article evaluates this contemporary commentary in terms of the method it follows and the specific issues it deals with.
