Notes	This doctoral thesis deals with the investigation of Surah Al-i Imran from Qaramani Tafsir. Ahmed el-Karamânî (971/1564), nicknamed “Asam”, is one of the tafsir scholars who lived during the reign of Suleiman the Magnificent (d. 1566) of the Ottoman Empire. He has a commentary called "Tefsîrü'l-Karamânî" and is still in writing. The commentary, which is a valuable work, consists of twelve volumes in total. Some of them have been completed and some are under review. This research consists of two parts: First part; This is the section where Karmani's personality, name and nickname, and his scientific and working life are mentioned. In this section, besides the revelation of the Quran, whether it is Meccan or civilized, the reasons for its descent, the relationship between nasih and abrogated, muhkam and ambiguous verses, letters called hurûf-ı mukattaa at the beginning of the surahs, recitations of the Quran, places of foundation and inception, the relationships between surahs and verses; The explanation of the Holy Quran through the Quran, the Sunnah and the words of the Companions has been mentioned, and many issues such as the parables in the Holy Quran have been explained and the interpretation of the Surah Al-i Imran has also been mentioned. This section also includes many topics related to linguistics and grammar, as well as rhetorical styles and subtleties. Fiqh issues and oral issues have a large amount in this studied section. At the end of this section, the sources on which he relied in his interpretation of the surah are mentioned. As for the second part; The authentic text containing the investigation of Surah Al-i Imran from the Qarmani commentary has been examined and this research has been concluded with some findings and suggestions.
