Notes
Children, who are in a period of rapid cognitive, affective and physiological development, take as models some of the people and characters around them, especially their parents, whom they love and respect. Among these models are the cartoon characters they love to watch. To what extent the cartoons, which are appreciated by children through these characters, convey to the children the religious and cultural values of the societies in which they are published; It is important for child development to know to what extent foreign cultures, negative words and behaviors are reflected to the child in these publications. For this purpose, two cartoons, one of which was a domestic production and the other a foreign production, were watched and subjected to content analysis, and religious-cultural values and negative messages were identified in these cartoons. Coding and categories in the analysis of data obtained from cartoons were carried out using the QDAMINER LITE v1.4.5 program.
