We live in the age of communication. This is the digital information age, where news and information are instantly transmitted from one place to another thanks to modern communication tools. In this age we live in, the rapid transmission of information also makes it difficult for it to go through the necessary control processes. This situation results in the contamination of information, and therefore the contamination of the person who is the addressee of the information. When those who want to use communication tools as weapons are added to this, societies can become helpless and defenseless, especially against communication tools such as the internet and social media. While it poses a threat to the legal and social fabric of societies, it also emerges as a problem that destroys the moral and cultural codes of individuals. This problem is not a problem that can be solved by banning or blocking fast communication tools such as the internet and social media. But it is always possible to take precautions against this problem. This article aims to determine the principles of communication from a fiqh perspective, taking into account moral rules, as a precaution, in dealing with the threats and problems described above. With the idea that it would serve the purpose, the article started by researching the history of communication tools used in ancient times and common moral principles.
