When the history of Islamic philosophy is reviewed, it is seen that it includes many cultures such as Greek, Arab, Turkish, Persian and Indian, and that this light spread especially from cultural centers such as Rey, Mesopotamia and Baghdad. In this process, philosophers raised in Iran played an important role in shaping Turkish-Islamic thought. On the other hand, some Persian scholars who escaped from the Mongol invasion settled in Anatolia and continued their studies in the madrasahs there. However, factors such as the presence of the Turkish community in a significant part of East Asia in the past and the establishment of the Kirman Seljuks in Iran cause different evaluations regarding the ethnic origin of the scientists there. Although debates about the origin of philosophers continue, the influence of Iranian and Turkish philosophers on each other and their place in Islamic thought will be discussed in the article. However, due to the breadth of the subject, the study is limited to the period from the relationship of Turkish and Iranian society with Islam until the 18th century.
