Notes
Cyprus Island is an island that has hosted different races and religions throughout history. Today, two separate states live in Cyprus, the northern part of which is under the guarantorship of the Republic of Türkiye and the southern part of which is under the guarantorship of Greece. The Island of Cyprus, which has different races and therefore different religions, which people are curious about but have not attempted to research, apart from the Turks, Greeks and British, has never lost its charm throughout history. As it is known, Muslims and Orthodox Christians live in Cyprus. In this study, information is given about the Maronites, who are recognized as a minority according to the 1960 Constitution of the Republic of Cyprus and are outside the two major communities of the island, and Koruçam Village, which is the only place in the North where they are allowed to resettle.
