Family, which is the most important part of the social structure, is also an educational institution that shapes a person's character and prepares him for the future. The basic patterns of the child's mental world and moral structure are formed in the family. The health and peace of the family home also affects the quality level of the social structure. For this reason, Islam attaches special importance to the formation stages of the family and the rights and duties between spouses. He reported that spouses are a source of peace for each other and protect each other against all kinds of troubles. Children are undoubtedly the most important source of joy in the family home, the establishment of which is given special importance. Children are the symbol of peace and happiness in the family, as well as the most important item on the parents' afterlife report cards. Because children are entrusted to their parents. In today's world, in parallel with technological and physical development, disinformation in the moral and spiritual world has also increased. Cases of neglect and abuse against children, who are the joy of the home, have increased. Neglect of the child's basic needs such as shelter, nutrition, education and health has reached extreme levels. In this study, the neglect and abuse of the child, which is given to the parents as a trust of God, is evaluated from the perspective of Islamic law, and it is tried to explain what the responsibilities of the parents, society and the state are in this regard.
