Notes	In this article, I will discuss whether time has a beginning. According to the big bang model, our universe does not have an infinite past. This is probably one of the most magnificent discoveries of modern cosmology. Despite this, some philosophers claim that time does not necessarily have a beginning. I will argue that the big bang supports the view that the universe had a temporal beginning. I will also try to show that a priori arguments that time has no beginning are not successful.
