Notes	In any academic research field, the most worrying process, especially for young academic candidates who have just stepped into postgraduate education, is often the phase of finding a "topic" worth researching. Advisors may have difficulty in helping their students with "a subject that can be detailed", sometimes due to workload and sometimes for other reasons. The purpose of writing this article is to provide modest assistance in the process of "finding a topic", which is the most critical phase of long-term academic studies that will cost master's and doctoral students years of work. The article is about the transfer of nearly ten years of experience in the field of modern Arabic novel research to the younger generations. In the introduction, general information about the research field will be given, and then recommendations will be made to young researchers who are considering doing academic studies in the field of Arabic literature about possible topics and authors worth researching in the field of Arabic novels. Since the scanning area of the article covers a wide geography as a whole, the form and content of the works will not be mentioned. Studies conducted in the Arab world on works and authors recommended to be examined will be included in the footnotes.
