In this study, the religious discourse of the Presidency of Religious Affairs is discussed within the framework of the Editorials published in the Diyanet Newspaper and Diyanet Monthly Magazine and written by the Presidents of Religious Affairs (Deputies and Deputy Directors). During the transition to the Republic, the Presidency, which was within the existing administrative structure, was obliged to carry out religious services as a public duty. The Presidency carries out the duties imposed by the legislation through different administrative units established during the process. It is known that the service policies and sensitivities of the Presidency are shared with the public through the language of the Presidents of Religious Affairs. Presidents of Religious Affairs have been systematically conveying their messages to the society through editorials in regularly published periodicals since the 1950s. In this respect, in this article, some evaluations were made about the religious discourse of the Presidency, focusing on the Diyanet Newspaper and Diyanet Monthly Magazine Editorials. In the religious discourse of the Presidency, there is a framework centered on the principles of faith and some beliefs, prayer life, unity and solidarity, morality and social life, which are shaped depending on the powers granted to it by law; However, it is noteworthy that messages about issues related to morality and social life come to the fore.
