Human beings are always in need of asking questions, trying to make sense and believing. This effort has been ongoing since ancient times. The primary tool in the process of asking questions and making sense is language. Various fictions and narratives are created and made meaningful using language. One of the types of fiction created is myths. Myths give us clues about humanity's questions and answers. In parallel with this production process, religious interpretations also offer meaning and answers to people. It is clear that religious interpretations and myths intersect and interact. Some theories claim that with the advancement of science in modern times, answers to questions will be found with science rather than fiction. Throughout the study, the narrative tradition that develops with the narrator identity of man and the possibility of fiction to reflect reality are discussed, keeping the religious dimension in the foreground. In this context, myths, which are products of fiction, and their transformation and situation in the modern period are examined; It is pointed out that myths continue their existence along with man's search for meaning in the changing modern world.
