Notes Kant became a turning point in the history of philosophy with his morality of duty. It is accepted that he presented an original moral philosophy, especially because he defined human beings as a free being. However, when Kant's moral philosophy is subjected to an in-depth examination, deep traces of Christian morality will be seen in the background of the concepts he created. When the morality of duty is associated with the teachings of Christian morality, the similarity between the two teachings does not go unnoticed. In our article titled "A Criticism on the Originality of Kant's Duty Ethics", we will try to examine whether Kant's duty ethics is a continuation of Christian morality.
