A lot of research has been done on love in the past thirty years. These studies tried to define love, operationalize it, and examined its relationships with various variables. The majority of studies have focused on romantic love. The love felt towards the immediate environment such as family, friends and all humanity has not generally been the subject of examination. The concept of caring love is a special type of love that focuses on the well-being of others. It is a broad concept that includes elements such as interest, caring, helping and sacrifice towards all people, close or distant. Sensitive love cannot be reduced to concepts such as empathy, sacrifice and compassion. It is different from romantic love, but more comprehensive than altruistic love. Sensitive love covers all humanity and is continuous. It has been seen as an important type of love by researchers because it is a type of love that contributes to positive social behaviors. In this study, the concept of sensitive love will be tried to be explained.
