Notes Hz. After the Prophet was elected ruler by the representatives of the people of Yathrib during the Aqaba talks in Mecca, he migrated and transformed Yathrib into al-Medina. Abdullah b., who lost Yathrib and his position. Übey b. Selûl and Ebû Âmir and those who acted with them were in a counter-migration movement against Abdullah b. Ubey continued their resistance inside Medina and Abu Amir outside, and they worked to return Yathrib, which turned into al-Medina, to pre-Islamic times. The most concrete indicator of these works is the Masjid al-Dirar mentioned in the Surah At-Tawbah. The verses mentioning Masjid al-Dirar reveal that the builders of this building concealed their goals and objectives. Acting hypocritically, these people abused the pure feelings of people who could not realize their true intentions. In order to legitimize the building prepared for the prayer of Abu Amir, who was expected to return by preparing a military force to recapture Medina, Hz. They invited the Prophet. Although it is called a masjid and it is stated that prayers will be performed in it, the Quran declares that this place is a center that watches over those who cause harm, deny and divide believers, and wage war against Allah and His Messenger.
