The work named Takrîzâtu ebyât by Ahmed Dursun Nâtıkî, one of the late Ottoman poets and writers, is a prose Arabic rhetoric book in which the poems in Muhtasarü'l-maânî by Sa'düddin Teftâzânî are examined from many aspects. There is information about the science of aruz in the introduction of the work. In the work, the aruz patterns of the couplets in the source text were determined and tactical operations were carried out. In this respect, the work is an application of prosody. Again, in the work, the couplets are annotated in detail, and in cases where the Arabic annotation is not deemed sufficient, Turkish and Persian explanations are also included. In addition, in the work, the istishhad points in the couplets were determined and the couplets in question were examined in detail in terms of grammar. In order to form the basis of the information given especially about the points of istishhad, summary information about the subjects of rhetoric is also given. This made it easier to benefit from the work without referring to the source text. Although the source text is generally used in the work, there are also original aspects of the work. In this study, Ahmed Dursun Nâtıkî's work named Takrîzâtu ebyât is introduced in general terms and compared with the source text and evaluated in terms of content.
