Notes As it is known, tafsir is the study of understanding the Quran. Sira is the conveyor of the Holy Quran. It deals with the life of Muhammad (pbuh). Both branches of science benefit from each other to the maximum extent. Sira authors Hz. While writing the life of the Prophet, they benefited from the verses and commentators included many Sira narrations in their works. In this study, Nesefî's commentary named Medârikü't-tenzîl ve hakāiku't-teʾvîl will be examined in terms of the sirah narrations it contains. Nasafi, VII. He lived in the Transoxiana region in the 16th century and was counted among the leading representatives of the Hanafi/Māturīdī school. His works were taught in madrasahs for a long time and preserved their value. In the work written by the author in a short and concise manner, Hz. It is important to determine Muhammad's approach to the basic issues of his life. In the article, the commentator's approach to the Sira narrations and the Hz. An attempt will be made to make determinations regarding the understanding of the Prophet. The identified narrations will be evaluated and compared with the first period sirah sources. Additionally, examples of the richness of the narrations in Medârikü't-tenzîl will be given.
