Notes	The concept of contemplation has an important place in religious terminology. Because contemplation and terms with similar meanings appear frequently in the Quran. The religious and moral importance of contemplation is constantly emphasized. Attention is drawn to the negative consequences of not engaging in the act of contemplation. In this study, the concept of religion and contemplation is briefly emphasized. In addition, the nature of the religion-contemplation relationship is examined by including the verses related to contemplation in the Quran. Some information is presented about the means and obstacles of contemplation. Some current necessary evaluations are made by focusing on the positive results of Qur'anic contemplation.
