Notes Throughout history, the Islamic world has been subject to numerous epidemics. One of the most reported and most researched ones in history books was the "Amvâs" plague. Many companions lost their lives due to this incident, known as the first epidemic in Islamic history. The diseases that started with Amvâs showed themselves from time to time throughout history. In fact, one of the reasons for the collapse of the Umayyad State was the increase in the number of plagues suffered. As for the Abbasid period, although epidemics decreased greatly, they were only partially effective. Since diseases are a part of human life, Hz. The Prophet frequently mentioned epidemic diseases in hadiths and gave some important instructions to Muslims. Muslims who took the recommendations seriously also took other material and spiritual precautions. As a result of the number of this epidemic, Muslim scholars took it seriously and wrote numerous books about the epidemic. They also made some recommendations that we should follow during or before the epidemic. With this article, we will try to give sufficient information about the plagues suffered in Islamic history, the people who died there and the precautions taken. Our Prophet spoke of epidemics frequently in hadiths, and gave some important instructions to Muslims. Also, Muslims recorded a number of other measures, material and morale. As a result of the large number of this epidemic, Muslim scholars took it seriously. They wrote a large number of books on the epidemic. They also gave a large number of recommendations that we should follow during or before epidemics
