Notes Migration in a sociological sense does not just refer to a simple spatial displacement. The phenomenon of migration, in addition to the change in the physical and social environment, also includes a process that mutually transforms the socio-cultural and economic relations of immigrants and the native population and includes them in a brand new set of relations. The forced and mass migration from Syria to Turkey since 2011; It has forced both the migrating Syrians and the Turkish citizens who accepted the migration to face extraordinarily difficult conditions. In the first five years of this mass and sudden migration, Syrian immigrants were seen as guests and an aid campaign was initiated. In later years, the economic and social effects of migration began to be addressed more rationally. This study examines the mass and forced migration from Syria to Turkey; It is a qualitative study that deals with problems, solutions, harmony and social integration. In the research, the relevant literature was reviewed, especially the reasons for the migration from Syria to Turkey and the reports and study results published on Syrian immigrants since 2011, when the first wave of migration started. Additionally, data was collected through observation and in-depth interview techniques with Syrian immigrants and participants providing services to these immigrants. Thus, the mutual expectations and complaints of Syrian refugees and Turkish citizens from each other were tried to be revealed.
