Notes
For some time now, humankind has been facing serious problems related to two spheres, one of which has more responsibility than the other. The environmental crisis is considered to be a leading challenge today. There has been intense debate about this issue ever since it became clear that it was a frightening phenomenon that could not be ignored. The public is quite familiar with some of the current and visible aspects of this problem, such as water pollution, air pollution and global warming, thanks to the influence of mass media and even cinema. However, in our opinion, this is a clear result arising from deeper philosophical, moral and anthropological motivations and transformations, the real reasons of which can be traced back to Cartesian thought and the scientific revolution. The modern and postmodern era has woven together moral and environmental problems. Therefore, it is only traditional wisdom based on revelation that can stop this correspondence, if it were to be possible.
