Notes	Mor Loozor Monastery is on a hill approximately 1 kilometer from Habsnas (or Habsus, new name Mercimekli) Village of Midyat. Although the foundation date and founder of the monastery is not known exactly, some parts of it date back to V-VI. It is dated to the century. It is highly probable that its founder or innovator was Shamun d-Zeyte. The fact that the monastery has not been used for a long time and the necessary maintenance has not been carried out in time has caused great damage. The most important feature of the monastery is that it has a retreat tower belonging to the Stylites (Amudis), called ascetic-columnists in the history of Eastern Christianity, which is not found in any monastery in the Tur Abdin region.
