This study examines the effect of religion on strengthening family resilience in the face of crises faced by religious families. Religions have shown special interest in the healthy functioning and survival of the family institution, which has an important place for individual and social life. Crises are situations that may be effective in the disintegration of the family institution, but they also create opportunities to strengthen it. It is important to understand the relationship between religion and family how religions, which are clearly interested in the healthy functioning and survival of the family institution, provide support to this institution in crisis situations. At the same time, this understanding will contribute to our understanding of the psychology of religious families. Since this research focuses on "how", it was conducted using the "theory building" approach, one of the qualitative research methods. Our study group consists of 30 religious spouses who have been married for at least 10 years. The research was conducted using the semi-structured interview technique, the "partner interview" technique in which spouses were together. The findings of our research reveal that religion strengthens religious families by providing both a theoretical framework and psychological support in the face of crises.
