In this study, we discuss the course of sciences and philosophy in the Andalusian civilization within the framework of the relationship between fiqh and politics. Fiqh and politics relations in the Andalusian world are among the most important factors that prepare the political, cultural and intellectual environment of this region. The fact that fiqh is so effective is directly related to the cultural readiness, beliefs and human structure in the Andalusia region. The political environment is related to elements such as the existing political structures in the region, rapid changes, relations with the Eastern Islamic world and the Fatimid threat. The relations between fiqh and politics, ranging from sincere or self-interested, played a decisive role in the arrival and development of disciplines, especially rational sciences and philosophy, other religious sciences and even different fiqh schools, in Andalusia. In this study, we will try to reveal the fiqh-politics relations and its consequences with examples by following the periods of Andalusian political history in chronological order.
